Associate Scientist Dr. Hwasung (Sung) Yeom gave an Invited Talk at the Materials Science & Technology Annual Conference held in Pittsburgh, PA from October 10th to 14th, 2022. The talk entitled “Environmental Degradation of Ceramic Materials in Nuclear Energy Systems”, was presented in the Symposium on Ceramics for New Generation of Nuclear Energy Systems and Applications. The talk was drawn from a recent book chapter coauthored by Hwasung Yeom and Kumar Sridharan in the book entitled, Ceramic Engineering: Fundamentals to Recent Advancements, published by Elsevier in 2022.
