This spring the NAMRG collaborated with undergraduate students Ben Gundershaug, Jon Vigen, Jack Williams, Nick Chan, Avery Burger, Cambry Weingart, and Leah Rietz to complete a MS&E capstone project on the behavior of Cr cold spray coatings. The students explored the effects of feedstock powder on coating quality, coating response to hoop strain, and coating microstructural evolution with long term annealing. The group presented an excellent poster and graduated in style. We wish them all the best of luck with their pursuits after college!
