Congratulations to Ben Maier who successfully defended his PhD thesis, ““Investigation of Mechanisms of Metallic Cold Spray Coating Formation and Relevant Corrosion and Irradiation Behaviors.” Ben helped launch the cold spray research program at UW in 2011. In January 2019 Ben began working as a Principal Materials Engineer with Westinghouse Electric Company.
